Happy Easter!

Today was a beautiful Easter Sunday when I was again reminded of the resurrection of our lord and savior, Jesus Christ. As Eric and I were heading to a local park for our annual family Easter "morning-side", we began talking about the first Easter day. "What do you think the weather was like?" Eric asked. After thinking for a moment, I had no doubt as to the answer. Did not the earth mourn and great storms fill the world when its very maker had died? Then I am sure that the earth, the trees, the birds, flowers, and skies rejoiced at his rising again! Can you picture the beauty, the peace and joy of that wonderful day? I can, and in my heart I rejoice and am filled with gratitude for my Savior. I know that because of His sacrifice and power of death, I too can live again!
